Admin Professionals Day - April 25, 2012
BECOMING THE POSITIVE PULSE OF THE OFFICE

The Book Cliff Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals invites you to its annual Administrative Professionals Day® luncheon, workshop and vendor exhibit scheduled from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at the DoubleTree Hotel, Grand Junction, CO. There will be goodie bags, door prizes and vendor bingo.

We are fortunate to have Sharon Raggio, CEO at Colorado West, Inc. as our keynote speaker. Our theme this year is "Becoming the Positive Pulse of the Office".

Administrative Professionals are one of the engines of business, particularly in a complex economy. In a world that demands the accurate and speedy movement of digital information, admins are masters of data and they do this while maintaining their more traditional role as the gatekeepers for many customers, clients and employees. Quite simply admins are the pulse of the office!

Save the date! Bring your co-workers, supervisors, bosses and guests to our biggest event of the year!

Bring Box Tops for Education and receive an entry for a special door prize.

How can we ever top the year of “Passion and Purpose”? We had such a great year last year, and I hope this year is just as wonderful for us.

I invite you to “Take the Leap to Remarkable” on a personal level.  Make yourself remarkable!  We can help each other become remarkable!   IAAP helps you become remarkable-advancing your knowledge, skills and ultimately your career, by providing their excellent certification program, through the work that is done for the chapter on the various committees, as well as the great educational opportunities that are offered every month.   Can you imagine the benefit of adding “Webmaster” on your resume?  If you take on that committee position, you can say that on your resume!  You can learn how to be a webmaster, event planner, meeting coordinator, historian, team builder, leader, etc. with the help of the chapter.  It is all up to you.  The resources are all available to you.  How remarkable can you become?
